Upcoming Seminar Programmes

AMI 0–3 Seminar Cycle (2027–2029) 

The AMI 0–3 Seminar Cycle is a two-and-a-half-year, five-Module series designed for AMI Trainers in Training (TOTs) as part of the AMI Training of Trainers programme. The Seminars may be chosen in place of a third courseplacement (3 placements or 2 placements plus seminars). 
Beginning in Spring 2027, the Seminar Cycle combines in-person and online Modules to support deep professional learning, flexibility, and international collaboration. 

Programme Structure 

  • Module 1: April 19 – 30, 2027 – Onsite, Bangalore
  • Module 2: Autumn 2027 (TBC) – Online
  • Module 3: April 17 – 28, 2028 – Onsite, Bangalore
  • Module 4: Autumn 2028 (TBC) – Online
  • Module 5: April 10 – 14,  2029 – Onsite, AMI Head Office, Amsterdam

Each Module is facilitated by a different AMI Trainer, offering participants exposure to varied training approaches and expertise. 

Aims of the Seminar Cycle

The Seminars are designed to: 

  • Broaden perspectives on Montessori training and pedagogy
  • Strengthen flexibility in thinking and delivery
  • Foster international collegiality and collaboration
  • Deepen theoretical and practical understanding of Montessori pedagogy
  • Develop knowledge of adult learning methodologies

The final Module in Amsterdam coincides with the 100th anniversary of AMI, offering participants a unique historical and professional experience. 

Participation

All active Trainers in Training are welcome to attend the Seminar Cycle, including current Trainers in Training, as well as those admitted by February 2027 at the latest. Please note, the application process for the AMI Training of Trainers programme may take up to six months
