Eleni Stergiopoulou
Eleni Stergiopoulou joined AMI in January 2021. She studied Early Childhood Education and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and Master’s Degrees in Gender Studies from Utrecht University and Social Education Research from the University of the Basque Country. Eleni has worked in the field of gender, sports and development, supporting and collaborating with partners from various regions of Europe, Central and South America, Asia and Africa. She has also worked as a teacher for more than ten years and in 2020 she obtained the Children’s House Assistants Certificate from the Maria Montessori Institute, London. Before joining AMI, Eleni worked with children and parents at Jacaranda Tree Montessori in Amsterdam and independently as a Montessori parent consultant. She is also currently training to be a Non-Violent Communication Mediator. As the Coordinator Training of Trainers, Eleni is responsible for supporting all trainers-in-training from the beginning of the programme to the end and for providing assistance to the Training Group and the rest of the Pedagogical Team.
