Association Montessori Internationale (Canada)

AMI Canada builds on a strong Montessori foundation in Canada, developed over the last 5 decades. AMI Canada is in the process of constructing an organisation that will act as a unifying Canadian national Montessori body, bringing together all Montessori factions and working as a vehicle for social change, advocating for and supporting the development of all children, within their families, schools and communities, thus enabling them to become transforming elements of society, leading to a harmonious and peaceful world. AMI Canada is committed to engaging in outreach, open dialogue and healthy collaboration with all, while safeguarding Montessori's work against diluting influences, alongside a firm commitment to AMI principles and practices. AMI Canada offers AMI membership, workshops and conferences to Montessorians in Canada for the past 18 years. The organisation also runs the AMI School Recognition Program.
