Children's House (3–6) Level Prerequisites

The following requirements must be met before applying to the join the AMI Training of Trainers Programme at the Primary/Casa dei Bambini/Children’s House (3–6) level:

  • An AMI Primary (3-6) diploma
  • An AMI Diploma at the 0-3 or 6-12 level or Orientation courses at both 0-3 and 6-12 level 
  • A minimum of five years experience, three of which are consecutive, directing a class of children aged between two and one-half and six years in an environment where the Montessori principles and practice are implemented 
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in your own country 
  • AMI membership
  • A classroom observation visit by someone appointed by the Training Group or, in countries with AMI recognised schools, a report from a classroom observation visit made within the past 5 years
